Tests and Measurements Research Paper Guidelines

The project for this course is a written paper that provides and in-depth review and critique of a published test or assessment.

Your paper should address all guidelines for critiquing a psychological test that are covered on pages 2 and 3 below. Please organize your paper according to GUIDELINES FOR CRITIQUING AND PSYCHOLOGICAL TEST.

· Avoid simply repeating the articles in summary form; use them within the text of your paper to illustrate important points.

· The body of your paper is to be 8-12 pages in length (depending on your assessment and the depth of information collected). Note: The body of your paper does not include, title page, reference page or abstract. It must be typed, double spaced, with one-inch margins, and fully referenced in the format specified in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological

· The text of your paper should be preceded by an abstract (about 100 words) that summarizes the key points in the paper (i.e., a statement of the problem, major findings, and conclusions).

· The paper will be graded on content, organization, and writing mechanics and style. The following rubric will be used to assign points associated with each main topic.

Cover page: 5 points

Abstract and Introduction: 50 points

Critique (using guidelines): 140 points
