The aim of this work is to guide the start of your summative work and consider your change
project.
You will need to demonstrate relation of the correct theories and policies and use correct
referencing.
Prepare 2 PowerPoint slides outlining a change in practice/quality improvement project that will
improve service user experience. The change should be identified from service user feedback
and/or observations made in practice
A 2 page PowerPoint presentation (plus a page for references)

The change can be something which has been identified through service user feedback &/or your
observations
Think about those things in practice which everyone moans about!
Keep it simple – don’t think about changing the world – just maybe change where the clock hangs
on the wall

Introduction: set the scene.
Brief outline of your chosen Quality Improvement Project/ change in practice.
Include whether you chose this based on service user feedback or observation.
Detail how this will improve service user experience in your clinical area.
Evidence what Quality Improvement is and the importance of this in health care.
Evidence the importance of service user involvement/co-production in health care.
Evidence you have thought about managing change (including any barriers and enablers).
Evidence regarding the leadership approach you have chosen with regards to your project
(your summative work will then continue from this point).
