Discuss nursing assessments for one special populations

As nurses care for patients they will provide care to people from a special population. This may include: frail elderly, homeless, transgender, gay or lesbian, developmentally-delayed, war veterans, an individuals with physical disabilities – paralysis, amputations, immune compromised, etc. For this discussion, select a special population of interest; research a minimum of two (2) sources focused on these clients’ needs that can be best met in a health care setting.
