Dermatology refers to the branch of medicine dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of skin disorders. However, during study most students do not specialize on intrinsic problems of the skin only. They also study internal medicine as well as various environmental and occupational factors that are main causes of skin problems. Proper knowledge on internal medicine helps to solve skin problems which may be mainly caused by internal infections. The dermatologist must also be well aware of the medicine part of dealing with skin problems. They have to understand the best type of medicine for a given problem since the skin has extremely many forms of diseases. Poor medication for patients with skin infections will mainly lead to expanded rashes for the skin. Dermatology has a wide history that dates from its evolution as an internal medicine branch. In the 20th century some physicians had started specialization on dermatology. Lack of expertise in the century led to massive negative effects as unqualified individuals tried to treat various skin disorders.

The article aims at evaluation of expansion of Medical Professional Services with Nonprofessional Personnel. Physician assistant is a new healthcare role. Following the growing population, there is need for improvements in the health sector. As a role player in proper health among individuals, physician assistants must be qualified to some point in extending certain services. Therefore, universities like Duke University have developed curriculum systems that offer four year formal training program for physician assistants. Although, the program has criticized of nearly capsizing the issue of Nursing, it remains extremely critical. Any individual, willing to become a physician assistant must be armed with proper university education, with a degree on the field. A physician assistant must possess basic skills of the field that he or she would like to work. This is usually tested through the university education as well as proper screening by the physician who will be the boss to the assistant. Following it being the pioneer in offering a course for physician assistants, Duke University remains the best university in training physician assistants.

Following the sensitivity of the health sector in the globe, all practitioners who are involved in any way to proper health care of an individual must meet given academic qualifications. The first and most critical one is possession of basic skills on healthcare that are not offered in medical schools. Individuals must be ready to meet the set academic qualifications. A Candidate is required to have excellent record of past examinations before joining the university. He must be a student with extremely high academic qualifications. Also, he must have proper knowledge of the medical field through passing various science related subjects. However, the most critical qualification for one to earn a job as a physician assistant is a university degree for a physician artist for a given field. The candidate must have satisfied the examination board of a given university through passing all the exams provided to him. Also, the field allows specialization through higher education at masters, and Ph.D levels. Despite the qualifications, they remain under the trained and qualified physician.

Over time, the issue of skin diseases has been a major problem among people. It has been extremely hard for physicians to deal with the alarming levels of skin diseases. To deal with the problem, the sector had to come up with a solution like any other sector where the solutions that have been imposed include absorption of physician assistants. There is increasing use of physician extenders in extension of care among patients with skin diseases. Physician assistants who are usually employed by dermatologists fill most of the positions. Physician assistants are entrusted duties such as diagnosis, evaluation, as well as management of common dermatologic conditions. Also, they are entrusted preoperative and postoperative evaluations, writing prescriptions, premalignant lesions and cryotherapy of benign, performing biopsies, intralesional injections, and carrying out laser surgery. They are of exclusive assistance to dermatologists as they make their duties lighter. They help in decongesting physician’s diagnosis room as they operate under instructions of dermatologists who are extremely qualified. This has been a sound move in curbing the excessive cases of skin disorders.

According to the fame that medical dermatology has gained in the current world, extensive keenness is required to ensure proper running of the medical field. There have previously been cases on lack of proper functioning for the department based on various issues. At some point, individual have held so dearly into the services they offer forgetting they are platforms for failure. They have taken it as if they are trading their services for financial rewards. However, this should never be the case. Practitioners should sustain their integrity through valuation of human livelihood, which may be a platform for failure. Like any other filed concerned with the livelihood of the members of the public, ethical definitions should be employed to fashion excellent medical discipline. Services should be inclined to saving human life and not on material gains.
