Directions: Pick a restaurant and a meal. Tell me the total of fats, calories, and sugars in the meal as a whole then break it down in each individual item. Example I’m going to burger king, I get a double cheese burger, fries and a drink the total calories in the meal are 1,230, the total fat are 34 grams, and the total sugars are 43 grams. In each item, my burger had 830 calories, 20 grams of fat, 0 grams of sugar. My fries had 300 calories, 14 grams of fat, 0 grams of sugar. My drink had 100 calories 0 grams of fat and 43 grams of sugar.

Then you will explain how to make your chosen meal healthier.  After making your meal healthier you will then give me the new total of FATS CALORIES AND SUGARS. I DO NOT WANT ANYTHING ELSE. NO PROTEINS, CARBS, NOTHING EXCEPT FATS, CALORIES AND SUGARS!

My favorite fast food restaurants is Burger King. From Burger King I get a double cheeseburger with fries and a regular coke. This meal is my favorite because after eating it I feel satisfied and full. From burger King the Total grams of fat for my meal were 32grams, total calories were 1400, and the total grams of sugar were 48grams. The grams of fat in my burger were 15, fries 15, and soda 2 grams of fat. Calories in my meal are broken down as so; fries 600 calories, double cheeseburger 800 calories, and my coke 100. The sugar is broken down as so; double cheeseburger 10 grams, fries 10 grams, and coke 28 grams. I can reduce my calories for my meal by substituting a double cheeseburger for a signal cheese burger bringing my calories down to 1000. It also helps me reduce my sugar by 5 grams and fat by 12 grams. I could also get water instead of my soda reducing my sugar by 28 grams 2 grams of fat, and 100 calories. My new total for my meal would be 1000 calories, 20 grams of sugar and 20 grams of fat. This assignment helped me realize I can make better choices and not substitute taste and satisfaction.
